The Thitreen Treasures trilogy

Continuing my list of the books I want to buy, here is a sequel added to it... this is not the least a war based book but shockingly a fantasy (quite contradicting to my science love). But still this indeed is a book worth reading... not a bore like all those fairy tales following the same beaten track. Michelle Harrison has really been successful in making vivid images in the reader's mind (I have already read the first book in the series and I am a huge fan of it). The first thought I had on finishing reading the book is 'This book must be converted into a film'. It really is a very beautiful book. Too eager to get the next books.

Plot:
A family secret, a fateful inheritance...
While visiting her grandmother's house, Tanya discovers an unsolved mystery. Fifty years ago, a girl vanished in the woods nearby - a girl Tanya's grandmother will not speak of. Fabian, the caretaker's son, is tormented by the girl's disappearance. His grandfather was the last person to see her alive, and has lived under suspicion ever since. Together, Tanya and Fabian decide to find the truth. But Tanya has her own secret: the ability to see fairies. Will it help to unravel the mystery, or just get them into trouble? Soon they are facing terrible danger, for manor's sinister history is about to repeat itself.

Returning to Elvesden Manor, Red is assisted by Tanya and Fabian, and a desparate hunt begins. Soon, they make a shocking discovery. The charms are now cursed with the twisted qualities of the thirteen treasures they represent... and the longer they are missing, the worse the consequences will be.

Red is now living at Elvesden Manor under her real name, Rowan, and trying to put the past behind her. But staying on the straight and narrow isn't as easy as she had hoped... Hounded by those who would like to participate once more in the changeling trade, Rowan is also haunted by dreams of the Hedgewitch's cottageand the chained-up Eldritch, who swore revenge when she left him there.
Her past is about to catch up with her - but can she, Tanya, and Fabian prevent it consuming her all together?

 Don't you think these books will really have a different essence?

Moments of Elation comment line: A relief from the general way I behave, think and live. Its very true that I am overwhelmed mostly by scientific approaches or emotions... the two big phases of my life. This fantasy that is absolutely different from the mainstream fantasy (I have been saying this repeatedly) somehow brings relief and elation... a thrill in this quite dull life with just the turning of a few pages. A really good read.

The arrangement of electrons in the various shells/orbits/energy levels of an atom of the element is known as electronic configuration.
