Vacation is coming up!

Vacations are just about to begin...three days more.  Then there's gonna be no school for about one month... and the beautiful weather, everything lighten up with sun's ever increasing power... I am dying for it. Summer is blissful, green and fresh. Have great plans for the upcoming days. Possibly I am not going out on a tour. So I have a good time for blogging, reading books and writing pieces of literature: three of my favorite pastimes. This time I promise I shall be regular and more informative as well as entertaining in blogging. Non-metals are the elements in groups 14-16 of the periodic table. Non-metals are not able to conduct electricity or heat very well . Non-metallic elements are very brittle , and not malleable (i.e.cannot be rolled into wires or pounded into sheets). The arrangement of electrons in the various shells/orbits/energy levels of an atom of the element is known as electronic configuration. Bohr-Bury scheme Electrons revolve around the nucleus in different energy levels or shells and each shell is associated with definite energy. The energy of the K shell is the least while those of L, M, N and O shells increases progressively.
